Lawrence and Issa’s paths cross once again on the latest episode of Insecure, “Ready-Like.”

Since Issa’s no longer at We Got Y’all, I’m wondering if this will be a professional project or a personal one, like fixing up her apartment. Either way, I’m glad to see in the last few episodes that Issa’s keeping busy and trying to do productive things with her time. Lawrence’s return would definitely put a wrench in anyone’s chill, but he may just be the confidence boost Issa needs during this transition period in her life.

With Dro making a return, Molly’s dating life is sure to be messier than normal. Part of me wants to see Molly broadening her horizons and exploring a relationship that truly meets her needs, but another part of me wants the show to continue the theme of women figuring themselves out without a man. Molly claims to be on her next level game, but will her approach to dating follow suit, or will she continue her old ways of throwing a wrench in a promising relationship before it even has the chance to get off the ground?
