Karen Gillan confirms on Instagram that she’s all set for Avengers 4 reshoots

Karen Gillan posted on her Instagram story that she is on the set of Avengers 4 reshoots. Thanos better watch out!

While it was thought that reshoots for Avengers 4 were going to start filming months ago and go throughout the summer, they actually started filming just earlier this month — as it looks like based on a tweet from the Russo brothers.

While the plot and most details about this film aren’t known, we did expect to see more of the heroes who survived at the end of Infinity War. This group of characters includes Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Nebula, Okoye, as well as Ant-Man and Captain Marvel who were not in the first film.

Now, it’s also confirmed that Karen Gillan is on set of the reshoots. Many fans expected Nebula to have more of an important role than she did in Infinity War. But, since her sister Gamora is now dead, it makes sense that she might have a bigger role in Avengers 4.

Gillan took to her Instagram story to post a photo that confirms her presence on the set. In the picture, which is a screenshot of her alarm app (seen here), she shows that she will be up early in the morning to be on set.

She also teased at some sort of conflict or confrontation between Nebula and Thanos, writing “You know what this means… Nebula has some unfinished business with Daddio,” and also adding “Reshoots!” in the corner of the picture.

News about reshoots and which actors are on set has been ramping up. We’ve seen pictures of Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Paul Rudd on set. We’ve also had Jeremy Renner confirm that he will be returning as Hawk-Eye in an Instagram post.

Crew member Jimmy Rich also confirmed in an Instagram video that Robert Downey Jr. is on set of reshoots.

Mark Ruffalo also revealed that these results might be pretty extensive. He said that they will actually be finishing up the movie during this round of filming, not just filming a few pick-up shots. This is exciting and scary news for fans who are still trying to figure out what will happen in Avengers 4 and what will become of their favorite characters.

We sure hope that Nebula gets to have a hand in bringing Thanos down! And we will keep our eye out for more Avengers 4 reshoot news!
