Newcomer Ella Mai burst right onto the scene this summer with her single “Boo’d Up” and she took no prisoners. Like Drake and Cardi, Ella has been holding steady on Billboard’s Summer Songs Charts and has been there for the last 14 weeks.

“Boo’d Up” was already picking up steam when Ella teamed up with Nicki Minaj and Quavo for the remix. Nicki and Quavo helped bring something new to the sultry R&B track, but it still couldn’t compare to the original! “Boo’d Up” was easily the top love song of the summer, and hopefully Ella Mai has more to come for us in the future — because if she can deliver a summer hit like this one so early on in her career, then we can only imagine what else she can grace us with!
