The Purge episode 2 live stream: Watch online

Are you prepared for more purging? The Purge returns this week with its second episode, and it promises to be another wild one.

The Purge goes into its second hour with tonight’s episode, “Take What’s Yours.” Normally, if this were part of the film series, we’d be heading towards a conclusion around this mark, but this is only episode two of 10 total, so there’s a long ways to go.

That’s reflected not in the episode’s title (and more on that later), but rather in the synopsis, which really doesn’t reveal much, but notes that some plans might change.

"Jane considers the morality of Purge; Miguel searches for Pete the Cop."

After a premiere episode which saw Jane hiring someone to do something vaguely but not very ambiguous, since it definitely involves murder, it seems like it might be a little late to have second thoughts. On the other hand, maybe she’s considering doing more than just hiring one someone. Maybe it’s time for multiple someones so that her rise to power in her company can be complete. “Take What’s Yours” could very well indicate that that’s what we’ll end up seeing.

Meanwhile, Miguel’s search for his sister will presumably lead to the aforementioned Pete the Cop (which, what a character name, right?). A cop doesn’t seem like the best ally on a night where crime is legal, so he might have some information that will help Miguel find Penelope in time. Finding Penelope, though, might take a few more episodes total, but it could be that this episode will be wrapping this part of the story up.
