AHS Apocalypse preview: What exactly will happen in “The End”?

AHS: Apocalypse premieres on Wednesday, September 12 on FX. We’re ready (we think) for the end of the world.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse is almost here and safe to say we’re both excited and terrified (the trailer wasn’t exactly light and fluffy content).

It is possible that Apocalypse could be a hot mess, or it could be one of the best seasons yet. As all fans of the series know, the season is going to be a crossover of Murder House and Coven. As the eighth season in the AHS series, we’re curious to see both how the world ends, and what may rise from its dark and gritty ashes.

The first episode has a pretty fitting title for the end of everything, “The End.” Per FX, we know Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, and Evan Peters’ characters all have something to do with ushering “in the end of the world.”

Apocalypse will show us the end of the world in some form, and all clues and information (plus some solid fan theories) up to this point let us know that Michael Langan, the antichrist baby that was born at the end of Murder House, has something to do with it. He is grown up now, and the end times are nigh.

What we don’t know is how the apocalypse will go down and how season 8 will mix season 1 and 3 together. Certain actors and actresses, such as Sarah Paulson and Taissa Farmiga, are set to play multiple characters in the series, and many people are wondering if time travel will play a role as some returning characters have died in previous seasons.

If you can’t wait any longer, we at least have the trailer to tide us over until Wednesday night. There are a lot of potential clues in this trailer, and it’s clear that a lot is going on in this upcoming season.
