As Spider-Man: Far From Home is being filmed, rumors that Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan will return are flooding in. What does this mean for Tony Stark?
It looks like Happy Hogan might be headed to the U.K. to appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Jon Favreau, who plays Happy and directed Iron Man and Iron Man 2, was not originally expected to be in the film.
His rumored appearance comes via a Reddit user whose video seems to show Happy on set (a red mark helps indicate where he is in the video). While his appearance is not completely confirmed, the video does lead us to believe that we will see him in Far From Home. The last time we saw Happy Hogan was in Spider-Man: Homecoming (as his appearance was cut from the theatrical version of Avengers: Infinity War.)
In the video, it looks like Happy appears to be speaking with Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders have both been seen on the set recently, and they’re for sure confirmed to be in the movie. We can’t be sure what Happy might be doing speaking to Fury and Hill, but it could likely be about making sure Peter Parker stays safe (and doesn’t blow things out of proportion when he sees a supervillain).

Similarly, rumors have been swirling that Gwyneth Paltrow could be coming back as Pepper Potts in the film. SuperBroMovies has reported that Pepper will also be around, but at this point, this is just a rumor with no real confirmation. The character might also return in Avengers 4, but we still don’t know that for sure either.
If Pepper and Happy do show up in Far From Home, it makes us wonder especially about the fate of one Tony Stark — as he is one of the characters who many fans are worried will die in Avengers 4. If so many of his closest companions are around to help Peter, we have to ask where Tony is in this equation. Marvel tries really hard to keep these plot points from being spoiled, but some information always ends up being spilled. Of course, so much is still unknown, and all we can do at this point is speculate.
What are your fan theories for Far From Home? Do you think Tony Stark will make an appearance, or is his time in the MCU almost up?
