Misfits

The rise and fall of the British show Misfits was quick, and now that it has been gone for quite some time, we can start to see what the show would be like now. The show follows young, troubled adults who, while doing their community service, happen to get superpowers.

Sounds insane, right? Well, it kind of is but that doesn’t change the fact that those first few seasons of Misfits were incredible. Here is the problem though: Nathan Young left, and suddenly a lot of interest for the show dwindled.

Sure, the show added Rudy (and it was still fun to watch), but Nathan brought a certain wild aspect that had a lot of us interested in the first place. The minute that Simon and Alicia were gone as well, the death certificate for this show was signed.

So, now in an age where we’ve talked endlessly about bringing this show to the States, could we see really see it on air again? Probably, but unless production brought back Simon, Alicia, and Nathan, it just wouldn’t be the same.

Give us Nathan yelling “Save me, Barry” one more time!
