Rugrats

Every kid who grew up in the ’90s remembers Rugrats. The show that ran for 13 years ended up defining a lot of our childhood experiences. Whether we were a Chuckie or an Angelica, we all wanted to be part of Tommy Pickles’ gang of friends.

Now the thing about Rugrats is that there have been rumors of a reboot for quite a while and we’ve even seen sequels to the show reimagine the kids as adults (not really what we want out of our Rugrats).

So, will Reptar crush towns again in a reboot of our favorite childhood cartoon? If the current television climate of rebooting every nostalgic show keeps up, then yes, we’d probably see Tommy Pickles with his brother, Dil, terrorizing their parent’s living room once more. Let’s just hope that they leave the Rugrats series All Grown Up! where it lies because we don’t need to be reminded of just how old we all are now.

Then again, if they don’t want to bring back Rugrats, we can go watch the movies and remember that earworm of a song the monkeys sang — “Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah A-Ah, Ting, Tang, Walla Walla Bing Bang!”

Let’s be real, we all still remember it anyway even if we’re not watching the movie…
