Flatiron Building (Spider-Man trilogy)

It’s notoriously known that Spider-Man works for the fictional newspaper, the Daily Bugle under J. Jonah Jameson. And the building used for the Bugle, New York’s finest daily newspaper, in the 2000s Spider-Man movies is the famous Flatiron Building.

So often, these characters just work in normal buildings, but Peter working in Flatiron gives it an authenticity that might not have worked otherwise. We can already see J. Jonah Jameson rolling up to the building with the cigar in his mouth, ready to get the news of the day out. Luckily, when you visit, you won’t have to deal with the aftermath of headlines that depict Shocker or Rhino destroying the city.

Will we see J. Jonah Jameson in the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies? If we do, hopefully, Jameson still takes over Flatiron with his angry screaming about pictures of Spider-Man and cigar smoke. Because we wouldn’t have him any other way. He’s the Jameson we know and love!

What you can do:

  • In the Chelsea-esque area of the city, Flatiron is situated in a place filled with fun activities! So take a picture for your Instagram, and get all the likes.
  • Play with Legos! There’s a Lego Store a few blocks down.
  • Grab an amazing bite to eat at the Shake Shack nearby.
  • Enjoy the people and events that Madison Square Park has to offer just across the street.

Location: 175 5th Ave, New York, NY

How to get there: You can take the R/W trains and get off at 23rd Street to see this beautiful landmark.

Cost: Free!
