As a storm rages outside, our survivors seek shelter wherever they can.

Fear the Walking Dead‘s midseason opener dropped a pretty big bomb on us all — Morgan plans to leave the group and go back to Alexandria. But with a massive storm on its way, Morgan’s plans are definitely delayed.

Due to Morgan’s plans to leave as well as Charlie running off on her own, everyone has seemed to split up at the absolute worst possible time. John and Strand are out looking for Charlie. Luciana actually has a lead on Charlie but has run right out into the storm to find her. June and Al are staying as safe as they can in her tank. And as for Alicia, we last saw her arguing with Morgan and going off on her own.

AMC’s teaser for tonight’s episode previews some quality time with Alicia and her having to grapple with everything that’s led up to this point:

"Alicia’s forced to reckon with an agonizing past while seeking refuge from a storm."

Alicia’s lost her mother and her brother, as well as her man. So safe to say, she’s got a lot of issues to work through. While a walker-filled storm isn’t exactly ideal, it’ll definitely shut her in for a while and this may be the time she needs to come to terms with all that’s happened.

As for others, June and Al may be safe in the tank but then again — high winds can cause a lot of damage. Prayers up for these two.

John and Strand are barely protected by the car they’re in, and Luciana and Charlie are literally out in the rain, where who knows what will come flying past them.
