2011 – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Watching the end of the Harry Potter series was hard for a lot of reasons. One, many fans grew up with this series and two, it meant that we would no longer be in the wizarding world of Harry Potter as frequently. Granted, we know that’s not true now in 2018 with new content for the series coming out again but still, back when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 came out, we thought it was the end.

Harry Potter has to find the Horcruxes that Voldemort has hidden around the world and destroy them so when Harry finally battles Voldemort, it is a fair fight. With twists and turns that no fan was expecting (and deaths that still weight heavily on us all), this movie was highly anticipated. Truly, the Harry Potter films dominated the box office when they were released.

With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, we had to live through the Battle of Hogwarts and seeing so many of our favorite characters die to try and stop Voldemort but, overall, the movie was wildly successful in wrapping up the series that meant the world to so many. Even if we had to watch the Weasleys crying over Fred or watch Snape tells his love story.
