2003 – Finding Nemo

Pixar reigns supreme and when there is a new Pixar movie that dominates the box office, watch out. So what was that movie in 2003? Finding Nemo.

When Marlin, who is a clownfish that has absolutely no sense of humor, loses his son Nemo, he has to travel the ocean to try and find him in Sydney, Australia. He finds a fish with memory loss named Dory and the two go on the adventure of a lifetime as they search for Nemo before eventually finding him in a dentist’s office in Australia. There, Nemo makes friends who help him escape and, despite the journey, these lovely characters had to go on, Nemo and Marlin find their way back to each other.

The movie shows the importance of unconditional love as well as friendship so, per usual, every buddy runs the risk of crying in this movie. Pixar loves to torment adults with their movies and Finding Nemo is no exception.

It is cute though to see Nemo swimming around with the school of fish in the beginning of the movie. Mr. Ray (the stingray teacher) is always so proud and happy with his students and maybe Finding Nemo has the best relationships.
