Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel is a nerd in a lot of ways. If it isn’t teaching Dame Judi Dench how to play Dungeons and Dragons then it is definitely putting so much time and effort into all the ways he can say “I am Groot” with feeling.

It is so easy to think that Vin doesn’t care about Guardians of the Galaxy because he’s simply doing voice work nd has three words to say over and over again. But Vin put in the effort to figure out exactly what Groot was saying and emoting each time and really, that’s nerdy and adorable all at the same time.

Sure, actors are all nerdy over their characters, but Vin putting in that much effort with his character Groot shows he’s both a talented actor and super fan of the Guardians series. Plus, again, this guy taught a dame how to play Dungeons and Dragons.

He has us beat in nerdiness and that’s fine. As long as he keeps breaking our heart as Groot, we can’t really complain because he’s amazing and maybe we all want to play Dungeons and Dragons with him someday.
