What is it with all these ladies in Hollywood being major Trekkies? Not that we’re complaining but like Mila Kunis, Rosario Dawson also has been known to geek out about the Star Trek franchise. Which, can you blame her?

The series has a long history and that means that there are fans from all walks of life. So to see Rosario Dawson geek about Trek is fascinating. Personally, I watched Rosario Dawson freak out when she realized that my phone case had Ben Wyatt on it and that made her even nerdier (and my best friend) to me.

We, as fans, often see celebrities as not having similar interests to us so when Rosario Dawson not only knew who Ben Wyatt was but flipped out because he was on a phone, I instantly knew she was a dork like the rest of us.

Pair that with her obsession with Star Trek and it makes Rosario the kind of person you want to go to the movies with. You know she’d talk about every trailer with you and the two of you would just have so much fun seeing whatever dorky film you wanted to go watch together. Also, you’d be hanging with Rosario Dawson so that’s fun.
