The 100 season 5 episode 13 live stream: Watch online

The season finale of The 100‘s fifth season airs tonight, and the stakes are higher than they’ve ever been.

Fans of The 100 know that the show’s two-part finales have a tendency to be intense. But the fate of humanity itself may be decided during “Damocles Part Two.” With McCreary threatening to destroy the last survivable land on Earth during the episode’s promo, we have to wonder how Clarke and her friends will worm their way out of this one.

It’s possible that they won’t be able to. Although the preview suggests that Madi is successful in leading Wonkru into Shallow Valley, the later clips also show the army running toward a ship. It looks like Clarke and Diyoza are trying to get airborne before McCreary’s missiles hit. And in typical The 100 fashion, it doesn’t appear they’ll have time to save everyone.

And with the trailer’s ending, it doesn’t seem like there’s any hope of the group stopping the missiles from firing. The only question is whether McCreary actually manages to hit Shallow Valley — or if Raven and Shaw trick him and aim elsewhere.

But if you’ve been watching The 100, you know things rarely go that favorably. More likely, the survivors will wind up heading into space again. We’ve had several hints at Eligius III building a colony elsewhere, and we know that the showrunners love to separate our characters at the end of every season.

One question does remain: Will all of our favorites make it on the ship in time? We’ll find out during the finale.
