The 100 season 5 episode 12 live stream: Watch online

The entire fifth season of The 100 has been building up to the war between Wonkru and Eligius. During the two-part season finale, fans will finally see that war come to fruition.

The fifth season of The 100 has been brimming with tension, most of it brought on by the approaching battle for Shallow Valley. Since Octavia declared war on Eligius during “Pandora’s Box,” most of the characters around her have been desperately trying to prevent a battle.

Unfortunately, their pleas for peace have gone unanswered. Wonkru is marching toward Shallow Valley, and their battle with the Eligius prisoners will comprise the two-part season finale.

Judging by the preview for “Damocles: Part 1,” the conflict doesn’t start in Wonkru’s favor. That’s to be expected, given Diyoza’s and Kane’s betrayal during “The Dark Year.” But will Octavia’s army be able to pull through, even with their battle plans foiled?

If they don’t, many of our favorite characters will be in deep trouble. Bellamy is on the front lines of Octavia’s forces, and Monty and Harper are marching with them. On top of that, the remainder of Spacekru is counting on McCreary’s battle plans to go as predicted — and they’ll be shocked to discover his strategy has changed.

The stakes are high, and it seems natural to assume that one or more of our fan favorites might be in fatal danger. It doesn’t help that show runner Jason Rothenberg has been teasing some intense scenes during the next two episodes. On Twitter, he wrote:

Let’s just hope none of his favorite scenes involve killing our favorite characters. But then, he does have a knack for writing some pretty dark episodes.
