Jake and Amy – Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Their love story: Another office romance, this unlikely pairing is the relationship we never knew we needed. Amy is a type-A go-getter and rule follower. Her uptight personality is endearing, especially gauged against Jake’s boyish silliness. You want them together because this yin and yang is a solid illustration of how beautiful unlikely things can be together.
These two danced around each other for a while, offering sexual tension in their bickering and competing. Even though they seem the least likely to be successful, there is something about these two that makes you root for them, no matter how they get on each other’s nerves (and ours, frankly)
Did they or didn’t they: They did, but it was messy and a complete disaster. In true Brooklyn Nine-Nine fashion, their wedding was plagued with problems and schemes. They wound up getting married in a bar. For a minute, we thought that might be the end of their story since FOX canceled the show. However, NBC picked it up and we get to see Amy and Jake as an actual married couple.
