Chuck and Blair – Gossip Girl

Their love story: To appreciate these two, you are going to have to overlook Chuck’s ( and real-life actor Ed Westwick’s) creepy vibe. Before he and Blair (Leighton Meester) ever got together, he tried to force himself on Serena and others, and his whole deal was kind of pervy, in general.

On the surface, he was debonair and collected, but if you look a little closer he was a bit of a stalker and predator. They spent their entire courtship scheming and trying to swindle each other, and the depths of their conspiracies reached new lows as the seasons went on. I guess you can say they deserved each other.

Did they or didn’t they: Blair finally landed her philandering man, and they were married in a very on-brand wedding in the final episode. You can only imagine the future horrors of their 1 percent life as they fought about Chuck’s probable infidelities and Blair’s crippling insecurities. However, you can’t say they didn’t love each other, even if it was in the most unhealthy and dysfunctional kind of way. No one could ever accuse these two of being opposites — these two are cut from the same overpriced, privileged cloth.

How to watch it unfold: You can watch Blair and Chuck fall into their unsettling commitment to each other on HBO Max All six seasons of their gross yet enthralling relationship is available to you anytime you need to feel better about your romantic choices.
