Who knew when 300 came out that we’d still be trying to cosplay super buff Gerard Butler years later? Well, we are and it is something our eyes are very appreciative of.

Following the story of the massive battle that killed the Spartan army (spoiler alert for history), the movie became an epic that everyone wanted to be a part of.

So when you’re walking the floor and you see King Leonidas walking before you, you can’t help but feel as if you’re in the presence of royalty! Also, both of these guys are super buff and that probably plays a really big part in why this is such an amazing cosplay.

Let’s be real, that movie was a big draw because there were 6-packs galore on-screen. Everyone was ripped and ready to show everyone what they were made of. Even if they all died, which was the Spartan way and which they all did anyway, but still.

To see a King Leonidas out on the convention floor? We’d be intrigued but also pretty intimidated.
