The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The movie that brought us Ezra Miller is not for the faint of heart. More accurately, it just will make you feel all the emotions at the same time ,and you’ll have to remind yourself that Charlie is okay and just to breathe. Based on the best selling novel by Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower follows Charlie’s struggle to make friends and what happens when he finds them.

For years, the tunnel scene was famous because of the mystery song Charlie and his friends drive to. According to the author, the original song was “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac, but, as we can see in the movie, it became “Heroes” by David Bowie.

With a soundtrack guaranteed to make your music collection just a little cooler, the movie gave us Miller as Patrick. He is incredible, funny, energetic, and we should have known then that one day, he’d end up playing Barry Allen.

He just seems to have endless energy and constantly wants to bound around. His role of Patrick is amazing and a wonderful introduction to the still-blossoming career of Ezra Miller. If you want to see him in action outside of Barry Allen, this is the movie for you!
