Here are 25 movies you should watch if you love the actors from the DCEU!

For Love of the Game

Kevin Costner loves a good baseball movie. From Field of Dreams to Chasing Dreams to this, he is the king of starring in movies that have to do with sports. What makes For Love of the Game so special is the emotional stakes that run through the entire movie.

Costner plays a pitcher in his last game as he is on his way to pitching a perfect game. In baseball, that’s near impossible. During the game, it flashes back to his relationship with Kelly Preston’s character and how he ended up where he is.

The movie itself is a wonderful introduction to Costner films in general. So if you loved his portrayal of Jonathan Kent, you’ll love him in this movie. Then again, Tin Cup or The Postman might be more your speed. Costner is one of those actors who has been around for quite some time. After all, he even played the dead body of Alex in The Big Chill.

Whether you go and watch Water World or For Love of the Game, definitely check out more of Costner’s work. We didn’t get enough of him as Jonathan Kent, and that is a right shame. He’s one of the greatest actors we have alive.
