Octavia just sentenced the two people she loves most to the fighting pit. And it doesn’t look like she’s backing down in “The Warriors Will.”
Bellamy’s and Indra’s plans for peace were foiled during “Sic Semper Tyrannis,” when Octavia woke up from her algae-induced coma a bit earlier than expected. Despite Madi’s ascension, Octavia still has control of Wonkru. And she isn’t happy with her brother or her mentor.
She sentenced them both to the fighting pits, declaring them “enemies of Wonkru.” Behind closed doors, it becomes obvious that this isn’t a decision she wanted to make. However, the preview for “The Warriors Will” shows her going through with the punishment all the same.

The trailer for this week’s episode opens with a glimpse of Bellamy, Indra, and Gaia standing in the fighting pit. “It doesn’t matter who you are,” Octavia says. “If you defy us, then you are not us.” Her words suggest that she’s looking to prove to Wonkru that she can be impartial, putting aside even familial bonds for her people.
Bellamy then asks Indra, “What happens if we don’t fight?” She tells him that someone choosing not to fight in the arena will be executed. Of course, viewers already knew this. It was nearly Kane’s fate during the fourth episode.
Following this, there’s a shot of Indra and Bellamy before they walk into the arena. “I’ll kill you quickly,” she tells him, and it’s clear that she’s 100 percent serious. It’s easy to forget how fierce and dangerous Indra was during the early seasons of the show. It looks like we’ll be seeing that side of her again.
Fans also get a glimpse of Octavia, looking formidable as ever. She’s sporting some new war paint, and the markings almost look like the ones she donned for the conclave during season four.
The trailer ends with a sarcastic statement from Bellamy: “This should be good.” And just in case you thought that he and Indra wouldn’t end up fighting one another, we get a quick glimpse of them doing just that. Are we feeling nervous yet, The 100 fans?
