Playtime at Bonnie’s – Toy Story 3

We all know what it is like to be in a new place, with new people (or in this instance, new toys). It is unfamiliar and disorienting to say the least, and that is exactly where Woody is emotionally when he ends up at Bonnie’s house. But his confusion quickly changes to joy after Bonnie plays with him and her other toys.

Years of watching Andy grow up and ignore his long-forgotten toys have led Woody to forgetting how great it is to have a kid around, and he is thrilled to finally be played with again. The smile on his face even gives his feelings away.

This scene is one to remember because while we saw Andy play with his toys quite a few times in the first two Toy Story films, the third film starts out very differently. And while it is unfortunate that Woody forgets his friends for these few moments, it is nice to see Woody back in a place that makes him smile. And even though he is not sure where his friends are in this instance, for just a little while he is able to be back in a life that he once knew so well years before.
