Sip on some Handmaid’s Tale wine while you deal with the horrors of Gilead, or better idea, cheer on rebellious Handmaids who dare fight back.

If you watch The Handmaid’s Tale, you’ve likely found yourself terrified, saddened, and easily reaching for a stiff drink after just one episode. If you’re brave enough to binge multiple episodes at a time, all the more need for some alcohol. Gilead is a dark place, and our protagonist June (“Offred” in Gilead’s eyes) has easily had her share of hardship. The girl could use a drink herself, heck, a whole bottle.

Thus it isn’t surprising that The Handmaid’s Tale has launched a line of wines with Lot18.com (who brought us those delicious Walking Dead blends). The wines are dedicated to the show’s leading women: June/Offred, Emily/Ofglen, and Serena Joy.

As we did with The Walking Dead blends, we offer you an episode to watch and a suggested food pairing. For June and Emily, we’ve chosen episodes that praise their character’s journeys. For Serena, well, just wait and see what we have in store.
