Game of Thrones season 8 is escalating yet again when it comes to visual effects for some of the last scenes being filmed.
Warning: Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers are on their way.
Our sister site, Winter is Coming, dubbed these Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers “downright biblical.” We can’t disagree, because this is ridiculously intense to say the very least. In fact, that might just be an understatement.

WiC points out that this is probably part of the fire sequence, but we don’t see any flames this time around. As a result, our question is this: Is this during the burning, or is this part of the aftermath? The smoke isn’t particularly black or anything like that, so it’s hard to place what caused it specifically.
