There is an entire scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier where Bucky Barnes is heavy breathing with his shirt off. Who is that scene for? In what world would Hydra sit a super soldier down without a shirt on and just work on him?

They wouldn’t. But we’re not complaining because it made everyone in that theater reach for their soda. James Buchanan Barnes was a ladies man back in the 1940s. He had no problem getting a dame, and it isn’t surprising.

He is charming and sweet and has a dimple in his chin that makes everyone giddy for him. So when he suddenly became the Winter Soldier and had long hair and huge arm muscles, the thirst just increased. The more he started to try and fix himself, the hotter he seemingly got.

There is a reason a character who has maybe spoken 50 lines throughout the entire MCU is one of the most beloved of the series. Played by Sebastian Stan, Bucky Barnes leaves us smiling and ready to take on whatever threat comes to the world.

And that arm? The arm that murdered hundreds of people? it is hot, and it makes no sense, but we try not to think about it too much.
