Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger season 1 episode 6 preview: Funhouse Mirrors

This week, Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger sure has an ominous episode title. What exactly will life throw at Tandy and Tyrone?

Funhouse mirrors are the perfect amount of cool and creepy, and Cloak and Dagger’s sixth episode title doesn’t instill confidence.

Because you know it means Tandy and Tyrone are in store for horrible things. Seeing distorted possibilities of their lives. Finding out what could have been. You know, all the creepy things villains throw at heroes.

Anyway, here’s the official synopsis for this week’s episode, courtesy of Freeform:

"Tyrone heads down a dangerous path to get closer to Det. Connors, as Tandy pretends to be a Roxxon intern in an attempt to get answers. Her “internship” hits a little too close to home for Tandy when she gets a glimpse at what her life could have been like. Meanwhile, Det. O’Reilly gets closer to Det. Connors and Evita’s Aunt Clarisse worries about Tyrone’s future."

Kudos to Tandy for using her resources to infiltrate Roxxon. But also… I feel like a giant company like Roxxon would do thorough background checks, especially for interns. I’m still a little surprised she managed to sneak all the way into Tyrone’s school in last week’s episode.

It also sounds like a bit of voodoo will work its way into Tyrone’s life yet again. It did guide him to Tandy before, but will it have lasting effects? You don’t mess around with voodoo, man.

It’ll also be interesting to see how the show utilizes Detective O’Reilly and how close she’ll get with Detective Connors. She definitely feels like the weakest link in this series so far, but that doesn’t mean she’ll stay that way.
