Oprah Winfrey gushes about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding, as well as shares a little style snafu she experienced.

Oprah Winfrey is all of us when it comes to the feels over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding. Even though several weeks have passed since the ultimate romantic moment in the When-Harry-Met-Meghan fairy tale, Oprah told British Vogue that she continues to enjoy the emotional experience.

The talk show host known for creating over-the-top memorable “Oprah moments” (who can forget this iconic moment turned meme) praised Bishop Michael Bruce Curry’s sermon.

“[Meghan Markle’s and Prince Harry’s wedding ceremony] left me feeling that anything is possible through the power of love. Reverend Curry was right!” gushed Winfrey.

In his speech prior to Meghan’s and Harry’s exchange of vows, the Bishop referred to Martin Luther King’s words about love.

"We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that, we will be able to make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way."

A stand-out among the many famous wedding guests, Oprah described her search for the perfect outfit. Cameras caught Winfrey at the event at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle looking stunning in a soft pink frock. The Stella McCartney dress boasted lace detailing and was completed by Oprah’s gorgeous cream hat. However, that outfit was actually a last-minute decision.

Winfrey realized two days before the wedding that the dress she had chosen to wear was fully white, not cream as she had thought. She admits googling “Can you wear white to a wedding?” and got the answer, “No, don’t risk it.” Thus the media queen turned to Stella McCartney’s team for help. Oprah shared that the designer’s employees worked all night to help the Emmy winner avoid “dressgate.”

Prior to Meghan’s wedding, Winfrey invited Markle’s mother Doria Ragland to her home. Their time together ranged from a feast featuring kumquats to yoga on her lawn.

Daniel Martin, a friend of Meghan’s who also serves as her makeup artist, shared that Markle “draws a lot of strength” from her mother.” Martin described Doria as “classy, chic and confident, but not unapproachable.” Sort of sounds like another classy woman we admire: Oprah Winfrey!
