The Fall (Lee Pace)

Ronan is Lee Pace. Shocking since he looks absolutely nothing like Lee Pace but yes, that is, in fact, Ned the Piemaker from Pushing Daisies. That being said, one of the greatest movies that Lee Pace did was The Fall.

A very specific indie flick, it focuses on a former stuntman who was paralyzed during work. While in the hospital, he befriends a little girl and tells her a story of daring actions, love, and a man searching for his daughter.

He’s not a great man, as the movie shows, but it is heartbreaking to watch him struggle with his new life as he all but uses this girl to do his bidding for him since he can’t. One of the best parts about the movie is the switch between the hospital in Los Angeles and this world he’s creating for her through their story.

It’s vibrant, magical, and should be one of the great classics. It’s one of those movies that you remember and instantly want to talk to everyone about. Lee Pace shines in it and is less than two hours long. There’s really no reason why everyone hasn’t seen this masterpiece, just make sure you bring a box of tissues with you.
