Zodiac (Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo)

Zodiac is a perfect movie. Sure it is really long but just prepare for that and enjoy this iconic movie. Does it make sense that Robert Downey Jr. has the most elaborate costumes? Not really but who cares, it is weirdly terrifying and makes us want to figure out once and for all who the Zodiac killer really was.

Starring both Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr., this movie introduced a generation to one of America’s greatest mysteries: the Zodiac killings. In the late ’60s and early ’70s, there were a string of murders in Northern California.

The person responsible for the killings had a calling card and they were messages sent to the papers using the Zodiac to try and decode them. Thus the murderer became known as the Zodiac killer and, somehow, got away with it all and still, to this day, the answer of who committed the crimes is unclear.

Obviously there have been ideas and the movie deposits the one that most agree with but still, nothing can be certain. What is certain though is that it is a great film to watch for Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. They’re incredible in it and it is still one of the greatest films in recent years.
