You know what’s really unfortunate? Finding Jeremy Renner attractive as he’s playing Jeffrey Dahmer. Dahmer gives us a glimpse into the insanity that was Jeffrey Dahmer and his reign of hidden terror. Or basically, it is just a glimpse into what he did.

For those who don’t know, Dahmer was a serial killer and sex offender who killed 17 men and boys from 1978 to 1992.

So to find Jeremy Renner hot while he’s playing this sick person is definitely not something anyone wants to think about. Yet here we are. Besides that creepy fact, the movie itself shows Jeremy in a way that many of us haven’t seen him before. We know him for The Hurt Locker or as Hawkeye or, most recently, in Tag.

Dahmer is not the first movie we jump to when we want to share our appreciation of his work. Still, it might be the best work he’s done so far. Of course, The Hurt Locker is incredible, it got him an Oscar nomination. But to bring Jeffrey Dahmer to life is no easy feat. It takes dedication to a man who was murderous and that performance is one we should praise.
