9. Mommy’s angry

One of the main plot points in The Lost World: Jurassic Park is the fact that they find an injured baby T-Rex and have to try and nurse it back to health. The problem? Well, the mom isn’t exactly happy that her baby is missing.

In a pretty awesome scene, the T-Rex comes for her baby and is willing to hurt whoever she has to to get it back. Luckily, there are plenty of scientists there who can figure out a way to help the baby while also giving the mom back her infant without getting eaten.

Obviously, they succeed because Sarah and Ian are in the entire movie but the set up to “helping” the baby T-Rex is very Jurassic Park. Trapped in a confined space without really knowing how they’re going to escape and having to have multiple things happening at the same time.

It’s why we love this series. You never really know what you’re going to get and it can feel like anxiety overload. In the end, we know that the T-Rex will help everyone save the day and a Raptor is going to get hurt in some way or another. Predictable but not and that’s what we like.
