16. Shirtless Ian Malcolm

Many of us were first introduced to the glory that is Jeff Goldblum with his role as Ian Malcolm. And that would explain our infatuation with him. Or maybe everyone just feels that way about Jeff Goldblum but still, there is something about Ian that is so appealing that you can’t help but fall in love with him.

It helps that his shirt is slowly unbuttoned throughout the movie. What’s great about this franchise is that, typically, there is a woman being objectified. Especially back in the early ’90s. To see a shirtless Ian Malcolm breathing heavy on our screens, we were quite shocked.

Obviously, no one was complaining about it, which is why it is one of the best moments in all of the Jurassic Park movies but still. His looks and his ability to whoo someone while their significant other was standing right next to him was not lost on audiences. Then again, if Ian was played by anyone else, he might not have had the same magnetism that he did on screen. There is just something about Jeff Goldblum that has audiences swooning and it is why this scene worked so well in the series. That and a nice shirtless scene is nothing to scoff at.
