14. Mulan taking out the entire Hun army

Mulan isn’t just a feminist, she is a total badass. After training hard to become a soldier, she discovers her greatest strength on the battlefield. Mulan sees hundreds of Huns coming for their troops and she decides to do something beyond dangerous.

She grabs the last cannon and fires it at the tip of a mountain to cause an avalanche. She was able to light the wick by forcing Mushu to breathe fire, which sends the cannon and Mushu at the mountain. The avalanche wipes out every single member of the Hun army within minutes. The best part about this scene is the look on Shan Yu’s face. He is angry and terrified at the same time.

Unfortunately, he ends up hurting Mulan, which leads to her discovery of being a woman disguised as a man. But before that, Mulan became the hero that she always wanted to be. She had saved everyone there and managed to slow down the Hun army as they made their way to the emperor. This is a great scene because it shows that Mulan is more than a woman or even a soldier following orders. She does anything she needs to even when it puts herself in peril.
