The Air Signs

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Oberyn Martell

Gemini’s a hard sign to choose for when it comes to Game of Thrones, but then we thought: who’s a quick-thinking, energetic character who can have some “mercurial energy,” as noted by Astrology.com?

Look back at Oberyn Martell’s final fight in the series, where he faces the Mountain. He starts off confident — so confident that it legitimately worries Tyrion — but by the end, Oberyn is spitting with rage, the rage of a long-held desire for revenge because of the death of his sister, Elia Martell.

Besides that, if you don’t think Oberyn’s “charming,” another key quality of a Gemini per Astrology.com, then we don’t know what to tell you.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22): Catelyn Stark

The word for a Libra is “balance,” per Astrology.com, and that’s something Catelyn strives for. She’s not always the best person — she admits that freely — but she tries to even out others, like her son, Robb Stark. It’s a shame he doesn’t listen to her more, isn’t it?

Aside from that, though, she’s quite the negotiator, and that’s another key aspect of Libras that Catelyn fulfills. She doesn’t want to anger the Freys, so she cuts a marriage deal. She strongly considers releasing Jaime in exchange for her daughters.

Ultimately, Astrology.com says that Libras are best when working with others, and Catelyn’s best when working with people like her husband or Brienne of Tarth.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Daenerys Targaryen

You didn’t think we’d forgotten about Daenerys Targaryen, claimant Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Mother of Dragons, and Breaker of Chains, did you? Oh, no, we did not forget about Daenerys.

The sign of Aquarius doesn’t like to be disagreed with and has an idealistic streak, per Astrology.com, and that’d be two of Daenerys’ biggest traits right there. She wants to improve the world, and if she has to do it with fire and blood, so be it. But beyond that, Astrology.com notes that Aquarians have a tendency to have people around them, and the fact that we can unironically refer to “Team Targaryen” pretty much sums that up.
