Twenty-Something Girls vs. Thirty-Something Women (Season 2, Episode 17)

Did someone say powerful older women? In this season 2 episode, the girls are inadvertently surrounded by 20-somethings and have never felt older.

Samantha fires her young assistant Nina, only to find out that she stole her contact list and is throwing an A-list party in the Hamptons. When the girls head out to the Hamptons for the party, they’re surrounded by their younger counterparts, and it’s a disaster.

Charlotte falls for a hot, young 20-something guy, and lies about her age so he doesn’t get scared away. After convincing him she’s in her 20s, she tries to live the fun, young lifestyle for as long as she can, until she suffers the consequences. It seems like your 20s aren’t all it’s cracked up to be, because Charlotte catches crabs from her young lover.

Carrie is also feeling the pressure of being an older woman when a young writer followers her around the beach party hoping to have her as a mentor. And if that wasn’t annoying enough, she also runs into Mr. Big, back from Paris, with his beautiful, 20-something girlfriend.

It just goes to show that sometimes, being in your 20s isn’t that great. Samantha’s ex-assistant thinks she’s hot stuff because she can throw an A-list party, but the girl has zero experience and the party starts going off the rails until Samantha agrees to help her out.

Being that young is when you have the confidence but lack the experience to back it up. So don’t get cocky, especially not around Samantha Jones!
