Sex and The City may have been a bit behind when it came to bisexuality, but in this season 2 episode, they explored the concept of pansexuality. And of course, Samantha is at the center of it all.

Samantha is approached by a gay couple, David and David, and asked if she would have a threesome with them. Samantha isn’t sure about the idea but decides to give it a go anyway. When she finally psyches herself up enough to do it, the guys chicken out on her right there in the bed!

This episode also features the iconic scene when the girls attend a tantric sex workshop. Charlotte is worried about her bedroom skills after her doctor boyfriend falls asleep while making love. He was just tired from a long day of surgery, but Charlotte immediately freaks out and thinks it’s about her prowess in the boudoir. That’s when she decides to drag the girls to a tantric sex workshop in a doctor’s living room.

None of the girls, except Charlotte, are paying much interest to the seminar, and instead, are giggling and making jokes. Charlotte is furiously taking notes until they all stop and give their full attention: the doctor’s husband entered, got completely naked, and laid down on the floor.

The doctor starts demonstrating her techniques right there on her husband, and the girls are fascinated. They should have warned Miranda that she was in the splash zone. When the doctor’s husband finished, it got all over Miranda’s face. Even Charlotte couldn’t help but stifle a laugh!
