What is the deal with the life lessons we’re getting on Legion?

While it is nice that there is a Jon Hamm cameo in Legion, we have to ask why? What is with all these life lessons they keep trying to give us?

Legion went from a show that doesn’t make any sense to one that is trying to each us life lessons. Don’t worry, the irony isn’t lost on us. This show had one of the most confusing first seasons. Somehow, we were all still hooked to the insanity that was David Haller and Division 3.

Flash forward to this season and we still don’t really know what’s going on. The problem now though is this Jon Hamm device that they’re using to give away very obvious plot points and now life lessons?

It was fun in the beginning but now it is being a little overused. This isn’t exactly what we want out of Legion. The show can’t seem to find another rhythm after the one set by the first season was all but destroyed.

While it is still fun and we can enjoy the adventure that David and his friends are going on, it hasn’t touched back to what we loved of season one. David had to fight constantly to figure out what was going on in his brain.

But now that we knew it was because of Farouk, he’s just toying with the idea of bringing on destruction to the entire world or follow the advice of those near him.

So what is going to happen with Farouk? Who knows but hopefully they’ll stop trying to teach us life lessons. Jon Hamm can stop now.
