This fan-made movie poster for a Gamora and Thanos spinoff is everything

Fans may not have much backstory from Thanos and Gamora’s relationship in Infinity War, but they can still use their imagination thanks to this fanart.

We all love when talented fans showcase their artistic abilities through fanart — especially if it provides us with an additional storyline for our favorite TV shows or movies. Digital artist BossLogic has done just that, depicting what he envisions for a Gamora and Thanos Infinity War spinoff aptly named Titans.

Now, if you’re like us, you’re most likely still not over what happened in Infinity War and are still pretending that some of it never happened. This poster, however, piqued our interest for what a possible movie, centered on the lives of Gamora and Thanos, would be like seeing as how we were only given a few glimpses into their relationship before its tragic end.

It was clear in the movie that Thanos was heartbroken making the choice to sacrifice his adoptive daughter for the Soul Stone. Perhaps a big part of it was small moments like what is shown in the poster. We see a young, smiling Gamora on the shoulders of Thanos indicating a sweet father-daughter dynamic — one that is most definitely gone thanks to that nefarious plot to annihilate half of the universe. (Or is it? After all, there is a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on the horizon…but Thanos might be in trouble in Avengers 4.)

The digital artist’s poster was, of course, well-received by fans on twitter. In fact, Zoe Saldana herself gave the poster some hype:

Hopefully, it’s only a matter of time before fans are granted more insight into the Gamora-Thanos relationship. In the meantime, we’ll be checking out all the fanart that’s out there to give ourselves a bit of a reprieve.
