Can this really be the end of Jughead? This is what you need to know about Riverdale’s season 2 episode 22 live stream and how to watch online.

Oooof. Last week’s episode had us all crying into our Jingle Jangle. Jughead might be dead. Riverdale is beyond the Thunderdome. And the gang is in way over their heads. Where do we even go from here?

In the trailer for “Chapter Thirty-Five: Brave New World” it looks like the core four, now down to the core three, have to mourn Jughead. However misleading the promo for the finale mightt be, it’s still a hard pill to swallow, since we all think Jughead has more story to tell. 

It’s hard to find a bright side in a show that has taken us down a very dark path in its second season. If there is anything to cheer us on, it’s Cheryl in her red Serpent’s jacket looking like the Queen we know she is.

I’m reluctant to think Jughead’s death is little more than emotional manipulation. However,  I can’t help but get sucked into it. It’s a pretty devastating thing to have to process, even if it’s probably just a narrative red herring.

Also, if we’re to believe the thirty-second promo, we can see that Archie has finally turned on Hiram. He tells us, in a cryptic voiceover, he’s going to “make his bones.” We’re meant to believe that it’s with Hiram. Fingers crossed.

We need something from a Riverdale season finale: a resolution to the Black Hood’s killing spree, resurrecting Jughead from the “dead” and Archie taking a zillion seats and letting the grown folks do the work.

Whether we get any of things remains to be seen in the (very) highly anticipated finale.
