Kimmy divorces the Reverend once and for all

Speaking of Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne, it’s about time Kimmy gets rid of him for good. The Reverend had lured four women to an underground bunker by convincing them the apocalypse had happened and they are the only ones still alive.

While in the bunker, Kimmy was forced to marry the Reverend but didn’t realize she was actually married to him until season 2, when he calls to demand a divorce. At first, she wants to sign the divorce papers immediately and get it over with, until Jacqueline tells her to hold out in order to get something out of it. For once, Kimmy is the one in control.

Last season, Kimmy was confronted by Wendy, the Reverend’s new fiance, who has some serious self-esteem issues. She begs Kimmy to sign the divorce papers so that she can marry the Reverend, despite him being in jail. Kimmy wants to talk some sense into Wendy. But Titus just wants her to get it over with and move on. In the end, Kimmy refused to sign the papers because the Reverend is a monster. Wendy should run far away from him (which she still refuses to do).

Now that we’re onto season 4, we think it’s time for Kimmy to leave Richard Wayne Gary Wayne in the past. If she’s ever going to lead a happy, normal life, she has to get as far away as possible from the man that imprisoned her. Plus, maybe she will reunite with Dong and the two will want to get married! One can only hope.

Or if they really want to end the series with a bang, they could kill him off! Just an idea. Surely they could come up with some spectacularly stupid death to send the Reverend off right.
