With his new Netflix special Kid Gorgeous, John Mulaney is all the more easy to binge and crush on.

When Man Crush Monday takes over, everyone typically shares selfies or hot pictures of actors. Why not include comedian John Mulaney and his special in that mix? The comedian, known for his work on Saturday Night Live and Oh, Hello!, has had three Netflix specials, one more relatable than the last.

He isn’t exactly the kind of man you’d write home about for looking attractive. He is, however, a nice boy that your mother would most definitely approve of. John Mulaney is one of those comedians that you just gravitate towards. His stand-up could so easily be “white man woes” but it isn’t.

For whatever reason, we all relate a bit to what he’s saying. He has this way of connecting with an audience and making you laugh at a story that isn’t even that funny. John is a brilliant story-teller, using his body in ways that confuse and delight those watching him.

From his bit about Timothee Chalamet to the very quotable jokes from his stand-ups, the internet loves John and for good reason. In an age where we don’t necessarily want to listen to white men doing stand-up, John has found a way to keep us intrigued with what he’s saying. One of the best jokes as of recent is his sketch about ordering lobster from a diner that was finally featured on Saturday Night Live.

It was weird, made little sense, but reminded everyone just how brilliant and funny John Mulaney is.

Can your Man Crush Monday say that he met Bill Clinton as a child because he knows his mother? Well, if your MCM is John Mulaney, then you can.
