Lando Calrissian is the star of Solo, which is funny since it should be Han

When it comes to the movie Solo, everyone is excited about Lando Calrissian — which is obviously a problem since the movie is about Han Solo.

Solo: A Star Wars Story has slowly become “why everyone is excited about Lando Calrissian?” The movie, meant to focus on the early days of Han Solo as a smuggler, isn’t exactly getting fans excited. Most of us want to talk more about Lando Calrissian because he seems to be the favorite.

Now, it isn’t exactly surprising. Everyone fell in love with Lando in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. From his fashionable looks to his determination to save his city, he was complex and someone we wanted to know more about — mainly more about his relationship with Han Solo.

So, in a way, we’re getting the story we wanted. We just have to deal with a Han Solo that we might not necessarily like. It’s just that the trailers make it seem like Han isn’t the charismatic guy we know him to be when we first meet him.

Seeing Lando appear, looking ever the same, makes us just a little bit more intrigued about the movie. We don’t know much about it, except for the fact that Han doesn’t even know that much about Chewbacca which just seems wrong.

The whole movie is unclear and no one really knows what to expect. All we have is Lando Calrissian in a fur coat to keep us intrigued. And let’s be honest, Donald Glover rocking that fur coat definitely has all of us ready to see Solo.

You can see Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters this May 25. If you don’t want to see it for Han, then definitely see it for Lando Calrissian. Donald Glover is going to be incredible and we can’t wait!
