A challenge on Twitter has celebrities sharing their top four favorite films. Do you and your favorite celebrity like the same movies?

Don’t say you’re short on movie recommendations anymore, because all your favorite celebrities are sharing their top four favorite films on Twitter.

The Twitter challenge was started by FilmStruck, a classic-movie streaming website. The rules are simple: pick four films that best define you and then tag some friends.

Its Twitter account started by tagging Star War: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly?) Johnson didn’t have any Star Wars movies on his list.

Other celebs also had eclectic mixes of films, spanning across all genres and time periods. Take Tessa Thompson, for example, who picked Harold and Maude and Malcolm as two of her four.

While we’re here, let’s just say we aren’t making any judgments about how good or bad some of these movies might be perceived. Everybody deserves to enjoy all sorts of movies. On that note, can you guess who added 2001 film Shrek to their list?

Yep, that was Chance the Rapper. But we can’t blame him. Despite being such a meme-able movie, it still holds up as a pretty good story.

Take a look at what some other celebs choose as their top four. A lot of their selections are really telling of their style when it comes to acting and directing.

Then there’s The Shape of Water director Guillermo del Toro who couldn’t help but break the rules a little. He chose eight movies instead of four, but it’s clear to see where the Oscar winner gets his inspiration from. It’s monster movie madness!

Those should be quite enough film recommendations to last you a couple of weeks — or a couple of days depending on how much you like to binge in one sitting. Again, no judgments here. So get those comfy pants on, and get ready for the most spectacular movie night courtesy of your favorite celebrities.
