For readers looking for something a bit lighter than mystery and murder, Colleen Hoover is also releasing a new novel this summer. All Your Perfects falls in line with the author’s usual stories, though it’s almost impossible to get sick of the romances Hoover weaves. From the sound of it, All Your Perfects will have some commonalities with Hoover’s It Ends With Us.

All Your Perfects unravels the relationship between Quinn and Graham, a once perfect affair that is now fraught with difficulty. Over time, the two have allowed resentments to build to breaking point, destroying their marriage in the process. The book explores the memories, good and bad, that have led them to have such a joyless union.

Hoover’s new novel also raises a question relevant to many modern relationships, according to Goodreads: “Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?” As with real life, we doubt there’s a perfect answer. But it does make you wonder whether certain hurts are completely irreparable.
