Shuri will probably be the best part of Avengers: Infinity War

If there’s a way to nicely and completely waste someone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then Shuri finds it in a new Avengers: Infinity War tease.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a lot like our own, except for the part where there are a ton of superheroes running around with powers or just obscene amounts of money. Sometimes, even when you really want to unleash the full power of your wit on someone, you hold back … and it ends up being an even more complete destruction than it would have otherwise been.

We know that Shuri of Wakanda is capable of verbally owning her older brother, T’Challa, but apparently that ability extends to just men who are older than her in general.

It doesn’t roll off the tongue in the same way that other famous lines like “Genius, playboy, billionaire, philanthropist” do, and it doesn’t need to. Shuri isn’t Tony Stark or Peter Parker but a girl. She’s Shuri, and that matters more than it might seem at first glance.

She has her own personality and a sense of diplomacy (at least a snarky sense of diplomacy) that she can deploy when she’s questioning why someone would fail to make the smartest choice when it comes to creating an artificial being like Vision.

Granted, she doesn’t unleash this takedown on Tony himself, but Bruce Banner’s adorable befuddlement is possibly even funnier. Can you imagine Shuri asking Tony questions like this with a smile on her face? Can you imagine Tony possibly thrown off his game in response?

What about the other heroes’ reactions? They’ll assuredly be comedy gold.

Never mind all the big heroes looking particularly fine in Infinity War.
