As Tax Day comes around this year, here is a list of places that will offer discounts or free food on Tuesday, April 17, so you can spend your money wisely.

Every year, people have to sit down and manage the ever-exciting project of their taxes. For some, it’s really straightforward, and for others, not so much. However, aside from accountants, it’s not something that anyone says they enjoy.

Depending on which bracket you fall in, and how you earn wages, Tax Day might be the worst day of the year for you. Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants willing to help pick up the slack. In fact, many of them offer free food just to take a little of the burden off your shoulders.

If you live in a very metropolitan area, some of the restaurants around you may be offering free food without you even knowing. Moreover, a number of discounts are offered via their apps, giving users added convenience. In general, apps help save time in line, so if you don’t already have that Quizno’s app, might as well download one now!

Though it’s hard to find the “best thing” about Tax Day, at least you can look forward to eating food that, in some cases, is half-price or just all-around free. So, if you’re going to be out and about, here is a list of places that offer free food on Tax Day 2018.
