C2E2 2018: Some of the best cosplay, from Star Wars to Stranger Things

Merida
Yes, this is the same Merida that I gave a Tylenol to.
But beyond that, she had some really clever details — some foam in her quiver so that her arrows didn’t rattle around, and an arrow basically always at the ready to pose for photos like this one.

Maleficent
This is a story I have to tell: this photo was actually taken before I even reached the security checkpoint one morning, hence the rather boring surroundings. It didn’t matter that I’d barely gotten my coat off. I had to take a photo of this Maleficent. Fortunately, she was more than happy to pose for me despite the early request.

The Queen of Hearts
This photo came about 10 minutes after meeting Maleficent, but at least it was after the security checkpoint. I shudder to think how this Queen of Hearts got through the scanners with such a big skirt. Props to her for really committing to the hair, too.
Additionally, remember the Link in Rito garb from the gaming slide? Yeah, they were part of the same group. That’s a great (if slightly bizarre) combination — and both had really well-constructed props like the Queen of Hearts’ hair and the Great Eagle Bow.
