Diana of Themyscira was, as you might expect, a particularly popular choice both as a cosplay option and just in terms of what shirts people wore. However, not all the Dianas I saw during my time at C2E2 came with a pilot ready to accompany them. As we’re a big fan of Steve Trevor (and Wonder Woman) around here, I had to take a photo of these two!

Though she didn’t have her ice cream, she did have her God-Killer sword and shield ready to jump into battle if she needed to. This was the only disguised Diana I saw at C2E2 over the course of the three days, and I honestly admired her willingness to wear the heavy layers — because that’s a lot of layers in a pretty warm convention center.

This writer didn’t need to have Nora’s cryostasis chamber recognized — or her Mr. Freeze nearby — to recognize her. The snowflake necklace was enough. But then you add in this classic Batman villain, and you have a duo that came to play … er, cosplay that is.

And LEGO Batgirl and Batman

That’s right: these are the same two people wearing just one costume each on the same day. They’re reversible.

If you look closely, you can see Wonder Woman’s hair sticking up in the Batgirl just above, and Superman somehow has Bat-ears as well in the top photo. That’s some serious commitment. One pairing would have been great.

A two-in-one costume is just patently ridiculous in the very best way.
