Mark Ruffalo has a beard now, and we’re not okay

Mark Ruffalo grew a beard and that makes him our Man Crush Monday. Do you need more explanation than that? He has a beard.

Man Crush Monday is a time honored tradition that spans time and life itself. Or more accurately, it is a new-age trend where we praise hot men for their looks as well as their talent and energy. Whether it is by saying they look good or loving the work they’re doing, we just want to praise these men!

With Mark Ruffalo, we always want to honor him. But more so this week, because he has decided to grow a beautiful beard that reminds us all that this salt and pepper hero is pretty incredible. When he’s not fighting alongside Thor, Mark is working with organizations to help make this a better world for future generations. Again, Mark Ruffalo is just pretty incredible.

We’ve all been in love with Mark for years though. The minute he crashed into our lives in 13 Going On 30, we were hooked. From there, we’ve just continued to be in love with him and as he’s gotten older, Mark has become much more vocal about his political standings.

I mean, who doesn’t love a man who isn’t afraid to voice his thoughts? So that’s what makes us love Mark so much. Not only is he an incredible actor, but he uses his platform to benefit others. He’s making sure to be an example for those around him, and that’s what makes Mark Ruffalo one of the most important actors out there today.

(Well, that and that time that he accidentally live-streamed part of Thor: Ragnarok.)
